Deepen your skills in teaching English as a foreign language with a TESOL certificate from the Akademia Jagiellońska w Toruniu, Faculty of Administration and Economic Studies! In many countries worldwide, such as Vietnam and China, a TESOL / TEFL Certificate is a must to teach English.
TESOL ONLINE COURSE TARGET GROUPS:
- English language teachers in kindergartens, primary and secondary schools,
- English language teachers in language schools,
- English language teachers who teach privately or online,
- People who are considering teaching English abroad in the future, for example, in Vietnam, China, Thailand, or Indonesia,
- People who want to acquire basic knowledge of English language teaching or deepen understanding from previous courses for teachers.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Age at least 18 years,
- Finished at least High School,
- English language at the level of at least B2 (TESOL Course is taught in English).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
TESOL Course is taught in English, and a minimum B2 Level of English is recommended. Both non-native and native speakers of English can apply to our TESOL course.

COURSE LENGTH:
- A total of 150 hours,
- Students have four months to complete the course,
- Most students complete the course in 1 to 1.5 months.
TESOL COURSE DATES:
Individual, you can start at any time, TESOL Course takes place in our online Education system.
TESOL COURSE TOPIC:
- Introduction to English linguistics,
- English language teaching methods,
- Lesson Preparation and Planning,
- How to teach writing, listening, conversation, grammar, and pronunciation in context,
- Other aspects of English language teaching.
STUDYING MATERIALS:
- Study texts for each of the modules,
- Tests in each module and assignment,
- Presentations,
- Consultations with lecturers.
CERTIFICATE:
TESOL Certificate issued by Akademia Jagiellońska w Toruniu.
NOTE:
This course is offered as a short-term continuing education course aimed at deepening the knowledge already acquired. Completion of the course does not in itself imply the possibility of becoming an English language teacher. In particular, you need to meet the legal requirements. It is also not a Trinity TESOL or MA TESOL or other similar accredited course (e.g. by the MSMT).
